I Want Help, How do I get it?
If you are a person dealing with a mental illness who is between the ages of 13-24, and in a state of financial need that prevents you from accessing mental health/addiction services, we can help you.
The TYPES of mental health/addiction services we can provide or help you access:
TALK THERAPY: If you are having a hard time it may be best to talk it out with a trained professional. There are many different types of talk therapy, and some work better for specific needs. Styles of talk therapy vary according to the uniqueness of the person.
INTERVENTIONS: Sometimes it can be hard to get through to someone who is struggling with a mental illness. “Interventions” are a planned way to intervene on someones life with the intention of permanently changing their behaviour. They are usually planned by the persons’ family or other loved ones.
ASSESSMENT: An assessment takes place in a session with a counsellor who can help identify what exactly is going on that you need support with. They will be able to offer you sets of particular steps you could take to find a solution to your concerns.
REFERRAL: When we utilize our resources to refer you to other organizations that could be of more convenience for, or better suited to, your specific needs.
